New Private Ranchos
We now offer four new Private Ranchos nestled into the ravine lot of our rainforest reserve.
Each unit features private bath with hot water tiled shower, stocked mini bar with small refrigerator, radio/alarm clock, coffee maker with delicious Costa Rican coffees and teas, fan, bamboo canopy bed with mosquito netting and a set of bunk beds sleeping up to 4 guests.
Fresh linens & towels are supplied along with natural shampoos and soaps all biodegradeable.
Ranchos are cleaned daily and laundry service is available.
Each Rancho also features a private deck. The private front deck offers an amazing glimpse of the jungle ravine and great location for watching local wildlife and bird watching.
The Ranchos are accessed by elevated wooden walkways and observatory terraces from the Rainforest Buffet Bar & Grill restaurant providing an excellent opportunity to view the magnificent ecosystem surrounding the lodge in privacy and comfort.
Deluxe Cabina
As well there is a Delux Cabina sleeping up to 4 people with a double bed and a set of bunk beds, ample closet space, desk, fans, radio alarm clock, large private tiled bath with hot water shower & tub surround, coffee maker with delicious Costa Rican coffee and teas, stocked mini bar with small refrigerator. Located on the main floor of the main lodge with a front deck viewing our surrounding botanical gardens and fruit orchard.
Tree House Cabina & Terrace
Tree House Cabina is located on the third floor of the main lodge and enjoys a magnificent view of our botanical gardens and fruit orchard as well as our 100 acre private rainforest reserve and the pacific ocean in the horizon from it's private terrace. This observatory cabina sleeps up to 4 people in two seperate rooms one with a double bed and one with two single beds. There is also a lounge area complete with coffee maker perfect for early morning bird watching. All cabinas are cleaned daily and fresh towels are supplied. Enjoys a "tree house" view of the toucans, macaws and parrots as they feed the wild almond, nancy fruit, mango, guava, orange and mamones only a few meters away!
Standard Cabinas
We have four double cabinas located on the second floor of the lodge. These comfortable, clean yet rustic cabinas are constructed and furnished with local hardwoods. Small yet adequate they all have private baths with hot water showers, and 24 hour electricity with fan, bamboo canopy bed with mosquito netting, radio alarm. They all have adjoining terraces to enjoy the view and activity of our jungle friends in our surrounding botanical gardens and fruit orchards. We have fresh organic oranges, pineapples, coconuts, guayabas, guavas, mamon chinos, mangos, avocados, bananas, platanos, yucca, zapotes, ginger, tumeric, nancy fruit, sweet lemon, lime, water apples, wild almonds, cashew fruit and nuts growing there amidst a fragrant array of flowers and orchids. The variety of birds and butterflies is amazing.
Observatory Terrace
Overlooking the ravine stream this terrace offers a refreshing platform to relax and enjoy the rainforest flora and fauna. We have recently added monkey bridges and enjoy visits from the white face, squirrel, spider and howler monkeys. The ravine is also home to several kinds of dart frogs whose songs combine to create the exotic symphony of sounds to enjoy here!
Rainforest Buffet Bar & Grill
In our restaurant enjoy exotic local cuisine on the open air terrace dining or screened dining room nestled into the jungle reserve. We specialize in local and international cuisine made with fresh ingredients from our organic gardens. We also offer vegetarian and vegan meals and can cater to your dietary preferences. At night dine by candle light and torches surrounded by the exotic aromas and sounds of the jungle setting. Package prices include accommodations with Meal Plan including 3 excellent meals a day from our menu or buffet specialties.
Camp Sites
Camping is also available if you are travelling with your own tent. We have campsites and offer use of the public shower and washroom facilities with hot water and a full range of services including transfers to and from the lodge and tours, meals and spa services.
