Nestled in the heart of the rainforest it's an adventure just getting to this jungle retreat. Located just a few kilometers inland from Drake Bay this jungle eco lodge gives you an opportunity to experience first hand the magic of this magnificent biological corredor and private reserves which connect to Corcovado National Park just 2 kilometers away.
You can fly directly from San Jose into Drake Bay airstrip with Sansa or Naturair for $85 one/way, per/person. From there we will have a taxi waiting for you to take you through Drake Bay and up to our jungle eco lodge $25 one/way, per/person.
You can fly from San Jose to Pal Mar Sur airport $80 one/way, per/person. From there we will have a taxi waiting for you to take you through the banana plantations to the sleepy river port of Sierpe. From there a launch will take you on a guided tour of the mangrove swamp reserve of the Sierpe River to Drake Bay. From there a taxi will take you up to our jungle. Transfers from Pal Mar Sur to Drake Bay $40 per/person
You can also take a bus from San Jose to Pal Mar Norte $15 one/way, per/person. From there we can have a taxi take you to Sierpe and the launch to Drake Bay and a taxi to Corcovado Jungle Eco Lodge. Transfer from Pal Mar Norte to Corcovado Jungle Eco Lodge $40 per/person
Private taxis can also deliver you from Puerto Jimenez or Pal Mar Norte to the lodge for $100.
We are located in the small agrarian village of Los Planes, a small clearing bordered by vast expanses of jungle reserves. You can arrive to our lodge in 10 minutes from the central Drake Bay beach.
We provide complimentary taxi shuttles to the beach from the lodge during your stay with us. However you arrive we know you will be mystified by this intense jungle paradise. You can take any tours available in Drake Bay from our jungle lodge.
