When you stay with us you are directly supporting the conservation of our private rainforest reserve and eco projects. Our 100 acre rainforest reserve provides a safe refuge to an amazing diversity of wildlife and flora and fauna. Kinkajous, sloths, spider monkeys, howler monkeys, white face monkeys, squirrel monkeys, jaguarundis, ocelots, armadillos, agoutis, paca, giant anteater, wild boar, jaguar, puma & tapir have been sited here. Also frequently viewed are the mot mots, trogans, humming birds, amazon green parrots, scarlet macaws, parakeets, toucans, dart frogs, iguanas, lizards and morpho butterflies to mention a few! We have even spotted the harpy eagle here!

You can hike jungle trails taking you along the stream to a little waterfall with a swimming pool at the base. These trails are not traveled by other visitors and your chances of seeing wildlife is improved greatly. Let our experienced bilingual guides take you hiking on our trails and show you some of the enchanting mysteries of this spectacular rainforest reserve. Our reserve connects with surrounding gigantic forest reserves directly to Corcovado National Park just 2 kilometers away creating an important biological corridor to the park and providing guests with an opportunity to explore this pristine paradise which remains unspoiled due to its' remoteness and the combined efforts of Minae, Corcovado Foundation and ourselves among others to keep this precious jungle gem intact. We specialize in hiking tours to rejuvenating waterfalls with refreshing pools at the base. This is truly a bird watchers paradise. There is something rejuvenating about the combination of sunshine, lush jungle vegetation and cascading waterfalls of crystal clear mountain springs. We are committed to preserving this valuable tract of forest and its' inhabitants and your tours through this reserve will help to keep it intact. We also feature Rainforest Night Tours through our reserve! Up until the 1970's this was a popular site for gold mining in the gold rich streams flowing through the property. The largest gold nuggets in the National Gold Museum come from this area. Today the only treasure we take from here are the photos and memories you will forever cherish of this magnificent eco system.
